I have a 2016 TD6 Sport that I purchased new at the dealer and serviced at the dealer that the engine seized at 96k miles. When it seized the temp was fine and there were no warning lights or signs of issues. There was a loud thud and it started losing power. Even though it was over on miles, the 4 year warranty just expired in April. Now I've been waiting on the possibility of a good will partial or full warranty for two weeks with no communication from Land Rover's customer service reps. I loved the car but a diesel engine failing so early in it's life is super frustrating. The dealer that I towed it to in San Diego quoted me $47,000 for a new engine! Obviously that's not the option I'll be choosing. Any ideas on how to get Land Rover to respond would be greatly appreciated. I DO NOT recommend this vehicle for reliability!
